Under a four month contract, I had the opportunity to be a Production Coordinator for the Creative Services production team for Insight Editions, a major book publishing company that creates books about tv, film, and pop culture with their extensive licensing program with companies such as Disney, Warner Bros., to NBCUniversal.
I applied my administrative skills by creating spreadsheets to manage the deadlines and progress for digital trailers and company video requests. I also booked calendar meetings for production team members with internal and external partners alongside coordinated video production shoot and approval timelines. I corresponded between external and internal partners to forward feedback on videos as well as reviewed monthly department expenses and handled general financial paperwork to be given to accounting department. I enjoyed my experience at Insight Editions because I strengthened my verbal and writing skills through these administrative tasks as well as promoted products of stories beloved by fans worldwide.
