As a General Production Intern for Season 25 for the The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, I gained hands on experience in various facets of production while working in a fast paced entertainment atmosphere. It was an incredible experience and reminded myself why I loved the process to tell stories. I was able to be an extra in one of The Daily Show’s skits (5:44) !

Tragic! Comedy Web Series Assistant Director
After talking to the university’s Film & Media department about any more opportunities to gain more experience, I was recommended to apply for a web series called “Tragic!”. It is a comedy web series about failed relationships that are inspired by real life stories submitted on Instagram. During my time with KB Studios, I provided feedback after watching audition tapes throughout the casting process, printed as well as reviewed scripts, and researched potential shooting locations.

Production Intern for beyond the whiteboard working specifically under Julie Foucher’s Pursuing Health Podcast
From May 2019 to September 2019, I had the opportunity to learn techniques and help produce podcasts that discuss the topic of health featuring guests such as USC’s Director of the Longevity Institute Dr. Valter Longo. Specifically, I edited video and audio for bimonthly podcasts for Pursuing Health with Julie Foucher, a 4x CrossFit Games athlete. Following a script and using Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Audition, and Adobe Photoshop, I was able to complete episodes 114-120. In addition, I created thumbnails for each episode and short 1 minute clips that would serve as promotional content for Julie’s Instagram page as a story or a post.
