For three years, I worked at William Morris Endeavor Agency starting as a comedy assistant for a Comedy Agent in WME’s Nashville office then eventually transferring to the New York City Office. After many years of rolling calls, writing up offers, and redlining contracts, I was selected as one of the few NYC assistants and only Comedy assistant selected as a WME Agent Trainee. I greatly enjoyed my time at William Morris Endeavor, especially the many live comedy shows as the leader of the WME department Comedy Assistant Tracking Group and great connections I established through the WME Agent Trainee program. I am incredibly grateful for every task no matter how small or large I was given as an assistant to Trainee that provided my current foundation and knowledge of the entertainment business.

2720 Podcast

With the circumstances of 2020, my two friends from college and I maintained social distancing with weekly zoom calls. Though we all live in different coasts, we enjoyed our talks to adjust to this unforeseen year with many changes. One 4 am conversation lead to our podcast named 2720, referring to the first two numbers of the area we lived in during our college experience (27) and the year we started this podcast 2020. To document this unreal year, we thought making this podcast would a creative way to document our 2020 experience as well as engage with our interest in comedy, politics, and entertainment . Ayesha, Meghana and I hope listeners can share similar perspectives about our topics such as TikTokers and voting or even enjoy our commentary such as “do you agree pineapple should be on pizza?”. As co-hosts and co-producers, we all do our part to make this podcast come to life each week from organizing schedules, social media posts, and late night editing. Particularly, I focus on editing the podcast, organizing the topics, and the design of social media posts. Feel free to check out our podcast episodes on Spotify, Google, and Apple Podcasts or follow our instagram page.
